"Several years ago, our friend decided to purchase a restaurant
franchise...franchise fees alone were about $25,000.
He had a location picked that suited him just fine, however, the Franchisor would not approve the site, because the traffic patterns didn't fit their perimeters.

Several stressful months later, he finally found a site the Franchisor would approve. Following negotiations with the property owner, and another $150,000 in preparation, the property was finally ready for occupancy.
